Odds & Ends

Hello Everyone,

Lots and lots of work has been done on the tiny house in the past few weekends. It seems like I have no life anymore besides build the tiny house haha!! I have run the copper LPG pipe, electrical and hot and cold water pipes. The kitchen cabinets have been installed and the laminate flooring underneath. The kitchen area has been completely insulated and ready for interior wall boards. I also started to build the utilities cabinet on the outside of the house, which will hold the water heater, solar controller/inverter, battery bank, etc..  A retractable awning has been installed above the door for when we install the fold up deck.

We bought this old cabinet unit on auction for 80 dollars. It will look nice all repainted.

    Where is the kitty?

    1. The kitty hangs out on the other side of the fence because she is scared of the llams.

Wow! What a great job you two have done! I know you are doing the lion’s share of the work Pat, and the house looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see more photos of the building progress (and of the cat and llamas). You both look wonderfully happy. Keep up the good work!

So, 1: is this house insulated with llama fur? If so, very warm.

2: How did you get the land? Did you get instructions/tiny house kit? I’m so curious!!

    1. 1: The house is not insulated with llama fur but we did think about it! We mostly were able to get it for free from some nice guy.
2: We are renting the land in the picture, just for building purposes at the moment and will be moving it to a new location at the end of the year. There was no instructions at all just patty cakes brilliance and experience with building houses! It has been a challenge because it is so small- but it’s coming together!

      1. Cori always looks gorgeous!!!
